If you are staying overnight, you can enter the hotel through the Delta Atrium portico.

Delta Riverboat Ride
The Delta Riverboat ride is withal happening at Opryland and is even more magical during Christmas.

Until last year, there have never been restrictions on who could visit Opryland at Christmas.
As of November 26, 2021, Opryland released the following update and safety protocols:
- Outset at 2 PM every Friday, Sabbatum & Sunday, resort access is restricted to registered overnight guests and result ticketholdrs with reservations
- Masks are required indoors for unvaxed guests
- Accelerate event reservations are required
- Resort access will non be restricted Monday through Thursday at this time
These restrictions are valid through Jan two, 2022.
For comparison, this is the official statement nearly resort access restrictions from 2020:
"To ensure social distancing, start at 4pm CST on Fridays and 1pm CST Saturdays & 3pm CST Sundays, i) access to enter the hotel volition be bachelor but to registered overnight guests and paid indoor result ticketholders; and 2) admission to enter the Gaylord Opryland Events Centre and Pinetop area will be available only to paid ticketholders for events located in those areas and to registered overnight guests.
We welcome not-overnight guests and non-upshot ticketholders to visit the hotel and resort holding Monday through Th. Additional dates/times may be restricted without advance notice every bit resort capacity is reached."
Thankfully, they are still allowing guests to visit the Opryland lights and holiday sights without having to stay at the hotel.
